This policy is not to discriminate or annoy. It is a position taken in the best interests of you and your child.There are multiple reasons for this policy including:

• the increased risk of miscarriage due to the stress and adrenaline generated during a new piercing
• the additional strain of pregnancy on the immune system.
• the possible use of antibiotics to treat a new piercing infection that would then be shared with the child in-utero and via breast milk when feeding.

We will be more than happy to see you for your new piercing once your body has healed from giving birth AND you have finished breast feeding or expressing milk.
